COULD SHORTER BE BETTER? THE “DESESCALADE” TECHNIQUE IN REVISION TOTAL HIP THROUGH ANTERIOR APPROACH

April 20, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm CEST

Femoral revision surgery can be quite challenging, and several techniques can be used. Depending on the complexity of the case, it is possible to remove a longer stem to introduce a shorter one (the so-called “Desescalade technique”). Dr. Laude will share with us his experience using this technique and shorter stem that yielded good results in the medium-term.
