SUMMARY:TWO TECHNIQUES TO TAKE YOUR ANTERIOR THA TO THE NEXT LEVEL – NO-RELEASE ANTERIOR & THE BIKINI INCISION
DESCRIPTION:Over the last decade\, the adoption of the anterior approach has grown substantially due to the benefits afforded by its intra-muscular and intra-nervous approach. Surgeons utilize variations of the anterior procedure based on their learning path and preference. This webinar will discuss two technique variations: AMIS® No-Release and the AMIS® Bikini® Incision \nThe AMIS (Anterior MIS) technique offers a sequential release of femoral attachments that allows surgeons to choose the amount of releases needed based on a patient’s indications. During this webinar\, the progression to the No-Release technique and learning pathway will be discussed. \nAnother variation of the anterior procedure\, the AMIS® Bikini® Incision\, will also be presented. The short\, oblique skin incision following the anatomic skin crease of the groin results in shorter and narrower scars; improving scar aesthetics and potentially lessening wound healing complications. \nFaculty: \n\nTom Ellis\, MD (Orthopedic ONE/Columbus\, OH\, US)\nTyler Goldberg\, MD (Texas Orthopedics/Austin\, TX\, US)\nJohn Masonis\, MD (OrthoCarolina/Charlotte\, NC\, US)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT
