SUMMARY:THE USE OF 3D PREOPERATIVE PLANNING IN AGEING SPINE SURGICAL TREATMENTS WITH A NAVIGATED ASSISTED TECHNIQUE
DESCRIPTION:Pre-operative planning in spine surgery is a strong tool to provide optimal surgical treatment\, as a function of the patient characteristics; 3D planning may represent a significant predictive instrument to simulate the real spine structure and its instrumentation. Dr. Verstraete will illustrate how important the implementation of navigated tool could be in ageing spine/osteoporotic patients\, where the combination of a cortical path can be crucial to reach the best screw bone purchase for better treatment of these degenerative pathologies. \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Patricia Verstraete (AZ Turnhout\, Turnhout\, BE)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT
