SUMMARY:KINEMATIC ALIGNMENT IN KNEE REPLACEMENT: PRINCIPLES AND EVIDENCE
DESCRIPTION:By achieving a true knee resurfacing\, the kinematic alignment (KA) technique for TKA aims at aligning the components with the physiological kinematic axes of the knee and restoring the constitutional tibio-femoral joint line frontal and axial orientation and soft-tissue laxity. Dr Rivière will outline the rationale and clinical outcomes of newly promoted more personalized techniques (kinematic alignment).\n\nFaculty: \n\nDr. Charles Rivière (MSK-Lab Imperial College London\, London\, UK )\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

SUMMARY:THE BIKINI INCISION FOR ANTERIOR APPROACH TOTAL HIP ARTHROPLASTY
DESCRIPTION:The Anterior Approach for Minimally Invasive Surgery (AMIS) allows implantation through an internervous plane with muscle preservation. However\, the classic longitudinal skin incision does not follow the anatomic skin creases and can result in scar widening.  In selected cases\, the technique can be modified using a groin crease incision\, the Bikini incision. Dr. Laude will share his experience and long know how\, about how and when performing a Bikini Incision. \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Frédéric Laude (CMC Paris V\, Paris\, FRANCE)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT \n  \n

SUMMARY:SHOULDER JOURNAL CLUB
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this journal club session discussing recent articles concerning shoulder arthroplasty for proximal humeral fractures\, as well as examining early findings from Orthopedic surgeons in Singapore regarding COVID-19. Each faculty member will present a recently published article and its findings\, and explore why the article is relevant to all practices. The session will be interactive and allow for audience Q&A. \nFaculty: \n\nWesley Cox\, MD (Fayetteville\, AR)\nMatthew Saltzman\, MD (Chicago\, IL)\nAdam Seidl\, MD (Aurora\, CO)\nAnup Shah\, MD (Houston\, TX)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT \n
