SUMMARY:PATIENT MATCHING FEMORAL IMPLANTS FOR THA – ONE STEM TYPE DOES NOT FIT ALL
DESCRIPTION:Each patient may present with unique bone morphology and bone quality. Selecting a femoral stem that best matches a patient’s femoral anatomy may improve procedural outcomes. As such\, we acknowledge that there is no one stem type that ideally fits all femur types as defined by Dorr. This webcast will feature a discussion that examines a variety of femoral component designs that may enhance the surgeon’s ability to personalize hip arthroplasty procedures based on the patient specific characteristics.  The panel will discuss potential pitfalls\, and interoperative remedies of Type A femurs\, as well as addressing concerns and solutions for the management of Type C femurs. \nFaculty: \n\nRyan Molli\, DO (Whole Health Joint Replacement Institute/Meadville\, PA\, US)\nPeter Thadani\, MD (Illinois Bone & Joint Institute/Chicago\, IL\, US)\nRonald Singer\, MD (OrthoCarolina/Charlotte\, NC\, US)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

SUMMARY:TWO TECHNIQUES TO TAKE YOUR ANTERIOR THA TO THE NEXT LEVEL – NO-RELEASE ANTERIOR & THE BIKINI INCISION
DESCRIPTION:Over the last decade\, the adoption of the anterior approach has grown substantially due to the benefits afforded by its intra-muscular and intra-nervous approach. Surgeons utilize variations of the anterior procedure based on their learning path and preference. This webinar will discuss two technique variations: AMIS® No-Release and the AMIS® Bikini® Incision \nThe AMIS (Anterior MIS) technique offers a sequential release of femoral attachments that allows surgeons to choose the amount of releases needed based on a patient’s indications. During this webinar\, the progression to the No-Release technique and learning pathway will be discussed. \nAnother variation of the anterior procedure\, the AMIS® Bikini® Incision\, will also be presented. The short\, oblique skin incision following the anatomic skin crease of the groin results in shorter and narrower scars; improving scar aesthetics and potentially lessening wound healing complications. \nFaculty: \n\nTom Ellis\, MD (Orthopedic ONE/Columbus\, OH\, US)\nTyler Goldberg\, MD (Texas Orthopedics/Austin\, TX\, US)\nJohn Masonis\, MD (OrthoCarolina/Charlotte\, NC\, US)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

SUMMARY:PATIENT-SPECIFIC GUIDES FOR KNEE REVISION SURGERIES
DESCRIPTION:PSI technology has proved to be an effective tool for planning UKA and TKA primary surgeries and for revision of UNI and PFJ implants. However\, PSI technology is seldom used for TKA revision cases so far due to extensive bony destruction after primary TKA prosthesis removal and\, consequently\, the loss of anchor points for PSI guides fixation. Dr. Leòn will present his experience with the MyKnee R technology\, a new way of using PSI in TKA revision creating PSI blocks that fit on the prosthesis in situ and can be used as pin positioners for standard cutting guides. \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Vicente León Muñoz (Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de La Arrixaca\, Murcia)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

SUMMARY:KINEMATIC ALIGNMENT IN KNEE REPLACEMENT: PRINCIPLES AND EVIDENCE
DESCRIPTION:By achieving a true knee resurfacing\, the kinematic alignment (KA) technique for TKA aims at aligning the components with the physiological kinematic axes of the knee and restoring the constitutional tibio-femoral joint line frontal and axial orientation and soft-tissue laxity. Dr Rivière will outline the rationale and clinical outcomes of newly promoted more personalized techniques (kinematic alignment). \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Charles Rivière (MSK-Lab Imperial College London\, London\, UK)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

SUMMARY:MEDACTA SHOULDER SYSTEM TIPS & TRICKS: HOW TO ENHANCE YOUR CLINICAL PRACTICE
DESCRIPTION:Instability is the main postoperative complication in shoulder replacement. It depends on several factors and its risk of incidence should be minimized by doing some stability tests intraoperatively and by evaluating the correct tensioning. SUMMARY:COULD SHORTER BE BETTER? THE "DESESCALADE" TECHNIQUE IN REVISION TOTAL HIP THROUGH ANTERIOR APPROACH
DESCRIPTION:Femoral revision surgery can be quite challenging\, and several techniques can be used.
