SUMMARY:TWO TECHNIQUES TO TAKE YOUR ANTERIOR THA TO THE NEXT LEVEL – NO-RELEASE ANTERIOR & THE BIKINI INCISION
DESCRIPTION:Over the last decade\, the adoption of the anterior approach has grown substantially due to the benefits afforded by its intra-muscular and intra-nervous approach. Surgeons utilize variations of the anterior procedure based on their learning path and preference. This webinar will discuss two technique variations: AMIS® No-Release and the AMIS® Bikini® Incision \nThe AMIS (Anterior MIS) technique offers a sequential release of femoral attachments that allows surgeons to choose the amount of releases needed based on a patient’s indications. During this webinar\, the progression to the No-Release technique and learning pathway will be discussed. \nAnother variation of the anterior procedure\, the AMIS® Bikini® Incision\, will also be presented. The short\, oblique skin incision following the anatomic skin crease of the groin results in shorter and narrower scars; improving scar aesthetics and potentially lessening wound healing complications. \nFaculty: \n\nTom Ellis\, MD (Orthopedic ONE/Columbus\, OH\, US)\nTyler Goldberg\, MD (Texas Orthopedics/Austin\, TX\, US)\nJohn Masonis\, MD (OrthoCarolina/Charlotte\, NC\, US)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

SUMMARY:PATIENT-SPECIFIC GUIDES FOR KNEE REVISION SURGERIES
DESCRIPTION:PSI technology has proved to be an effective tool for planning UKA and TKA primary surgeries and for revision of UNI and PFJ implants. However\, PSI technology is seldom used for TKA revision cases so far due to extensive bony destruction after primary TKA prosthesis removal and\, consequently\, the loss of anchor points for PSI guides fixation. Dr. Leòn will present his experience with the MyKnee R technology\, a new way of using PSI in TKA revision creating PSI blocks that fit on the prosthesis in situ and can be used as pin positioners for standard cutting guides. \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Vicente León Muñoz (Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de La Arrixaca\, Murcia)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

SUMMARY:KINEMATIC ALIGNMENT IN KNEE REPLACEMENT: PRINCIPLES AND EVIDENCE
DESCRIPTION:By achieving a true knee resurfacing\, the kinematic alignment (KA) technique for TKA aims at aligning the components with the physiological kinematic axes of the knee and restoring the constitutional tibio-femoral joint line frontal and axial orientation and soft-tissue laxity. Dr Rivière will outline the rationale and clinical outcomes of newly promoted more personalized techniques (kinematic alignment). \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Charles Rivière (MSK-Lab Imperial College London\, London\, UK)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

In these lectures our Faculty will focus on the problem of pedicle screw malpositioning and the need of accuracy improvement during spinal deformity surgeries\, on how MySpine technology can help in this and will explain the planning and the concept behind the scene. \nDon’t miss this thrilling experience! \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Riccardo Cecchinato (I.R.C.C.S. SUMMARY:THE BIKINI INCISION FOR ANTERIOR APPROACH TOTAL HIP ARTHROPLASTY
DESCRIPTION:The Anterior Approach for Minimally Invasive Surgery (AMIS) allows implantation through an internervous plane with muscle preservation. However\, the classic longitudinal skin incision does not follow the anatomic skin creases and can result in scar widening. In selected cases\, the technique can be modified using a groin crease incision\, the Bikini incision.\nDr Laude will share his experience and long know how\, about how and when performing a Bikini Incision. \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Frédéric Laude (CMC Paris V\, Paris\, FRANCE)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT \n

SUMMARY:HOW TO MAXIMIZE THE ANTERIOR APPROACH FOR HIP REPLACEMENT - THE AMIS REVOLUTION
DESCRIPTION:The development of a standardized and simplified surgical technique for the anterior approach\, with specific instrumentation and a personalized education program – the AMIS approach – strives to further respect the periarticular structures\, in particular the capsule\, usually released to efficiently expose the femur. In fact\, a reduced capsular release potentially results in less bleeding and better hip functionality. \nDr. Laude will share his tips and tricks in oder to maximize the capsulae preservation in anterior approach. \nFaculty: \n\nDr. Frédéric Laude (CMC Paris V\, Paris\, FRANCE)\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Dr Rivière will outline the rationale and clinical outcomes of newly promoted more personalized techniques (kinematic alignment).\n\nFaculty: \n\nDr. Charles Rivière (MSK-Lab Imperial College London\, London\, UK )\n\nIN CASE YOU MISSED IT
