Daevyd graduated from Monash University in 2004 and trained in the field of Orthopaedics at some of the most prestigious hospitals in Melbourne. During this time, he was awarded an honorary fellowship at the University of Melbourne Department of Anatomy. He received Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2015. He has also completed additional post-fellowship training in various centres of excellence throughout Australia, Europe and North America, with a special focus on joint replacement surgery of the lower limb and sports knee injuries. Daevyd is highly regarded for his Anterior Minimally Invasive Total Hip Replacement surgery. He performs both primary and selective revision hip replacement surgery via the anterior approach. Daevyd teaches anterior approach hip replacement to other surgeons throughout Australia. The primary focus for Daevyd and his team is delivering the highest quality surgical results with a caring and compassionate approach. Daevyd is actively involved in charity work in the indigenous community through Sporting Chance Foundation.
