Dr. Ryan G. Molli is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in adult reconstruction/total joint replacement surgery. He is originally from Pennsylvania where he graduated Cum Laude from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA with a degree in Pre-Medicine/Sports Medicine. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Osteopathy degree (D.O.) from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Erie, PA. Upon graduating from medical school, Dr. Molli then completed an Osteopathic Internship and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, MI. In addition to his domestic training Dr. Molli also completed an international AO Trauma Fellowship in Grenoble, France in the winter of 2009. During his chief residency year, Dr. Molli received the Simon Simonian Orthopedic Resident of the Year Award. He also was awarded first place in the nation for a research paper he completed during his residency at the annual American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in San Francisco, CA in the fall of 2010. Dr. Molli has been involved in several research projects and has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Arthroplasty and also wrote a chapter in a Sports Medicine Textbook. He has also presented several research projects/posters at several annual national and local conferences including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), Mid-America Orthopaedic Association (MAOA), Michigan Orthopaedic Society (MOS), and the Providence Hospital Research Day.
