GMK Sphere surgery featuring MyKnee LBS and GMK Efficiency
Medacta offers the opportunity to experience GMK Sphere, medially stabilized knee, in conjunction with the innovation and accuracy of a 3D printed cutting blocks solution, designed for each individual patient: MyKnee. Furthermore, MyKnee cutting blocks can be used in conjunction with the GMK Efficiency, a complete single use instrument set, maximising economical and clinical benefits. GMK Sphere is an innovative total knee implant designed to deliver maximum functional stability with the goal of increasing TKA patient satisfaction during activities of daily living and decreasing postoperative knee pain. MyKnee is a patient-specific 3D printed cutting block that allows the surgeon to realise his pre-operative 3D planning, based on CT or MRI images of the patient’s knee. The whole MyKnee process is managed in-house by Medacta, including a dedicated, personal technician to provide the surgeon with constant assistance. GMK Efficiency single use instruments have been developed to optimise instrument management, providing significant benefits in the O.R. and throughout the hospital supply chain.
